Under the continuing health guidance of the Ministry of Health and the guidelines from the Archbishops of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia, the Kahui Wahine National Conference will not take place this September as previously scheduled. This is not the future that any of us hoped, but the main focus remains the health and well-being of our women, our whanau, guest speakers, and everyone involved in the running of our biennial gathering.
The hosts, Kahui Wahine ki te Waipounamu are anticipating for this event to return in 2021, with a date to be confirmed closer to the time. We can’t wait to be together again when it is safe to do so.
Due to this postponement, Kahui Wahine ki te Taraiwhiti are looking to hold our own Amorangi-wide conference. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for any announcements.
Kia haumaru te noho. Stay safe and be kind to one another.
